Tyrine is a hip hop recording artist and producer who combines authentic sounds, timeless samples, and gritty drum patterns to be the undertone of his lyrics that are laced with biblical wisdom, faith in his Father God, Jesus Christ His Son, and His Holy Spirit. Tyrine’s music attracts a young to middle-aged audience with his boom bap beats and rhythmic flow as well as those who appreciate artists with a biblical message. Tyrine lives his music as an ordained pastor and chaplain ministering to the sick and bereaved families.

Tyrine learned early on that he had different interests than others. Where most men enjoyed sports, Tyrine was attracted more to the arts. This difference allowed Tyrine's music to carry its own personality as well. While he was influenced and inspired by non-christian artists, he maintained his own convictions in creating music around his own beliefs. 

As his music developed, Tyrine originally adopted the stage name Dakarai Spiritual. Dakarai comes from the Shona language of Zimbabwe. It means "to rejoice." Using this name instead of his birth name allowed him to have an identity that was separate from his own, sort of like Bruce Wayne and Batman. He used this name from the late nineties until 2026. Fortunately, dropping the moniker did not change his music, nor his personality. This move allowed Tyrine to begin to fully own his identity and to be who God created him to be.

In 2025, Tyrine formed the company Haywood Music, LLC to be the storehouse for all of the music that Tyrine creates. As the first artist under Haywood Music, Tyrine the Artist is now creating new music and listening to Holy Spirit for new ways to promote it!
